    Rana rule was known as the dark age  in the history of Nepal. They lived very luxurious life from the money of the public .They ruled the country according to the the wish of theirs ,without knowing the wish of people .Ranas ruled Nepal from 1903BS to 2007BS . Nine Rana rulers ruled Nepal . they were very cruel to people . Jung Bahadur Rana was the first rana prime minister  of Nepal.

2. Establishment of Durbar School , Bir Hospital , Ghantaghar , Bir Library , Tri-Chandra College , Military Hospital , pharphing powerhouse , Nepal Government Railways , Nepal Bank Ltd., Biratnagar Jute Mills , Sundarijal Powerhouse etc

3. Publication of first Calender 

4. Establishment of SLC Board of Exam   

5. Establishment  of gorkhapatra 

6. Establishment of Nepal Praja Parishad

7.Nepalese Citizen Right Committee established    etc

With Indian support , King Tribhuvan ended the Rana regime in Nepal. Due family conflict and non mutual understanding  Rana had became weaker and at last in the period of Mohan Shumsher  , Ranas were overthrown from the throne at 2007BS.
